April safety tip:power lines a threat during storm recovery

Stay safe this storm season by being mindful of the threat downed power lines present when felled by tree limbs, wind or other weather-related damage. Stay away from downed power lines prior to and throughout your co-op line crew's recovery and damage repair.

If you see a downed power line, move away from it and anything touching it. Keep a distance of 35 feet, as the ground around the downed power lines may be energized. Assume all downed power lines are live.
