Ensuring that our service area has a sustainable business environment is very important to us. We understand that a major part of your business' ability to achieve success is having the right resources available to you.  Therefore, your cooperative has made a number of resources avaialble for businesses like yours to promote their products and services.

 

The Co-op Connection Card links businesses and REC member-owners by encouraging businesses to offer discounts. In return your business is listed on our Co-op Connections web site and will be featured in our member-owner newsletter. You can complete the signup form and have your business registered today.

Every year, we take the time to thank our extraordinary lineworkers who dedicate their lives to keeping the lights on in our local communities. Roanoke Electric Cooperative has 14 lineworkers that maintain 2,000+ miles of line in the cooperative’s service territory, and without them, our world would be dark.

Throughout the 2016 campaign, Donald Trump pledged to review burdensome federal regulations when he became president. On March 28, President Trump took an important step to follow through on that commitment by signing an executive order to promote energy independence. The order also calls for review of the Clean Power Plan.
