Touchstone Energy Cooperatives announced the first-ever National Co-op Connections Day in 2016. TSE is a co--op federation composed of more than 750 local, consumer-owned utility cooperatives in 46 of the 50 United States. TSE co-ops serve more than 30 million member-owners.
“We are excited to participate in this second annual event to get connected with our member-owners and local business partners,” Wynn said. “This event is a way for member-owners to take advantage of their local resources while saving them money to do other things.”
As an added benefit member-owners can also take advantage of national flash sales and unique offers for member-owners at connections.coop. Member-owners and employees will also be able to participate in a social media contest when they upload photos featuring the Co-op Connections Card while using #ImConnected on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to be eligible for prizes.
“October is National Co-op Month and a time where we truly celebrate the cooperative difference with our membership,” said Curtis Wynn, president and CEO of the co-op. “Celebrating Co-op Connections Day truly speaks to our member-first mindset.”
